Let me confess i am totally new to blogging and I am sure my blogging style would give me away.So let me be completely honest ,I am totally clueless about how to start!well .... I thought why not with ,why I am blogging.

Well when I first heard the term blog, I admit I had to google it.one of the the definitions read
" A Web log, for the uninitiated, is a popular and fairly personal content form on the Internet. A person’s Web log is almost like an open diary "
Not an apt definition for naive beginners like me.Well to say the least ,I had my inhibitions about penning down my thoughts....oops....digitizing them for the whole world to see.letting people know your inner self,inviting comments(crticism included),wasting time to let people know your preferences!!..I wondered why??why should I?.more importantly why are people so eager to blog?Time to put on my thinking cap.My curious self refused to rest.I decided to explore and guess what......I loved it too!!Got addicted.
I read up blogs,went through blogspot,bloggers,livejournal,blogforamerica,indiatimes et al.(blogger dont sue me!)..... i realized what a whole new world BLOGGING is- a gamut of ideas,varying perspectives,hots and colds of people,the latest tech gizmos,events,news...(my sincere apology to all veterans who feel i have missed out on something vital).
A few days back there was an article in the op-ed about how easily the americans open up infront of total strangers (partially responsible for Oprah's success;)).Infact blog's success can be credited to this too.Truly an idea of the west but now we see bloggers mushrooming all over India too!Who would have thought that the conservative mindset of indians would have ever allowed them to do so...but then the world has woken up to the fact that we dont take much time to absorb the good...one of the many attributes of the smart indian brain (and blogging is not good it is "fantabulous").
Anyways, i think i am going a little offtrack.This is my foray into a strange exciting land...blog world ,here I come!
